Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a Conversions Crew member at Ryan Field in Evanston, IL. Under direct supervision from the Conversions Manager, this role will oversee daily setup and teardown for events, supervise the safe use of equipment, and provide operational coverage for scheduled activities around the venue.

This part-time role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$23.00. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Experience with venue conversions is a plus.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Follow safety rules and customer service standards.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set / strike equipment according to pre-determined floor plans for events.
• Move equipment manually between storage and event spaces.
• Review weekly work assignments with the Conversions Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.
• Perform housekeeping/janitorial duties when necessary.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, high-lifts, vacuums, and pressure washer.
• Read and interpret event specifications and instructions.
• Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
