Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking an on-call Changeover Crew for the VSU Multi-Purpose Center in Virginia. You will perform room set/arena conversion tasks and assist with event setups and break-downs. This role pays hourly and requires reliability and physical capability.

Part-time benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching. The role supports events, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed by the venue schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Fast-paced, high-pressure environment experience is a plus.
• Experience in public facility is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including long hours, overnight, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and tear down including risers, staging, floor, chairs, tables, drapery and other items for events.
• Handle folding and stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery and skirting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must lift 60 lbs or more on a regular basis.
• Work safely and effectively in all tasks.
