Job summary

ASQ is seeking an Event Content Specialist in Milwaukee to manage the end-to-end content lifecycle for virtual and in-person events, from CFP and speaker onboarding to live production and post-event evaluation.

The role requires a consultative, solutions-oriented approach, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and proficiency with Cvent. Hybrid work with travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in event management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in meeting planning, project management, and virtual technology platform management.
• This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the execution of the annual content strategy for both virtual and in-person events, ensuring alignment with ASQ goals and objectives.
• Utilize Cvent event management platform to help with event planning, tracking, and post-event evaluation.
• Establish and coordinate the content planning for company hosted events.
• Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and speakers to ensure smooth communication and content delivery.
• Coordinate event logistics, including technology platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Fonteva) setup and administration.
• Support the Call for Proposal (CFP) process, including platform setup, proposal review cycles, and scoring.
• Establish and maintain speaker onboarding standards to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with Technical Programming Committees and act as the staff liaison where needed for content-related decisions and ensuring alignment with event objections and content quality.
• Coordinate virtual member events, ensuring seamless delivery of content and a positive attendee experience.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
