Job summary

Leading Real Estate Companies of the World is seeking an Events Specialist to support meetings, conferences, forums, and special events from our Chicago Loop headquarters in a hybrid role.

You will manage registration in Cvent, coordinate logistics with venues and vendors, prepare reports, and ensure a professional attendee experience through strong organization and clear communication. This role requires attention to detail, ability to handle multiple deadlines, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in event coordination, meeting planning, hospitality, customer service, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with event registration software; Cvent highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning business systems; HubSpot is a plus.
• Interest in building a career in event planning and management.

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain Cvent registration sites for various events.
• Manage registration data, attendee updates, and event records in Cvent and internal systems.
• Prepare registration, attendance, and post-event reports to support planning and logistics.
• Support event technology, including registration tools, mobile apps, and attendee communications.
• Coordinate with hotels, venues, caterers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth event execution.
