Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Supervisor at Arkansas State University in Arkansas. You will lead on-site concessions operations, manage staff across stands, kiosks, and portable locations, and ensure fast service and guest satisfaction during events.

The role requires 2–4 years in concessions or food service, plus supervisory experience and relevant certifications. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in concessions, food service, or event-based operations.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS/TEAM or equivalent alcohol-service certification.
• A food handler certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
