Job summary

Sodexo Group in Cincinnati is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily dining operations at the University of Cincinnati Athletics location. You will lead on-floor staff, ensure service standards, and support opening/closing procedures while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

This full-time role requires 2–4 years in restaurant operations, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant alcohol-service certifications. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of restaurant or food and beverage operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol service.
• Must hold TIPS/TEAM or equivalent alcohol-service certification.
• A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-floor supervision of restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including readiness of dining and service areas.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, menu updates, and assignments.
• Support training and onboarding of restaurant staff.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
