Job summary

Sodexo at the University of Vermont seeks a Concessions Supervisor to lead on-site concessions during events. You will manage stands, kiosks, portable locations and autonomous retail concepts, ensure quick, compliant service, and uphold guest satisfaction.

You will assign staff, brief teams, train new hires, monitor inventory, and resolve issues with management. A high school diploma or GED is required, 2–4 years in concessions or food service, and alcohol-service certification as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of concessions, food service or event-based operations experience.
• Must meet age requirements to supervise alcohol sales and hold required alcohol certifications; food handler may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations and autonomous retail stores at events.
• Assign staff to locations and adjust coverage based on volume and needs.
• Conduct pre-event briefings, review menus and standards, train staff and leads.
• Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
