Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Concessions Supervisor at the University of Cincinnati Main Campus to oversee event-based concessions operations, ensure service quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will lead on-site concessions stands, kiosks, and portable locations during events.

The role requires 2–4 years in concessions or food service, supervisory experience, and relevant certifications (TIPs/TEAM or food handler).

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of concessions or event-based operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
• Maintain valid TIPs/TEAM or equivalent alcohol-management certifications.
• A food handler certification may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and autonomous retail operations during events.
• Assign staff to locations and adjust coverage based on volume.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings on expectations, menus and service standards.
• Address guest concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Maintain safe, fast, and clean service while following company policies.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Attend work on schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.
