Job summary

United National Maintenance is seeking a Tradeshow/ Event Janitor for shifts tied to events at the Boston Convention Center in Boston, MA. The role involves cleaning floors, bathrooms, windows, and common areas, with duties that adapt to event schedules and venue needs.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, restroom service, and operating ride-on cleaning equipment. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and independent or paired work.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - E-Verify.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk long distances.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 pounds and work independently or with a partner.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and chemicals to prepare cleaning solutions.
• Operate ride-on scrubbers or industrial vacuums as needed.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
