Job summary

United National Maintenance in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Variable Service Worker to perform cleaning duties for events in the city area.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, glass, and trash, plus restrooms service and supply. Candidates must lift 30–50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, and work independently or with a partner.

Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, sanitizing bathrooms, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of needed repairs.

Specific Responsibilities:

Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

Gather and empty trash.

Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. .

Mix water and chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Steam-clean or shampoo and extract carpets.

Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

Drive or operate powered equipment including ride on scrubbers or industrial ride on vacuum cleaners.

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
