Qualifications

• Experience in professional kitchens and/or event catering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menus for weddings, private events, conferences, and other special events.
• Lead and coordinate event kitchen staff during service.
• Organize prep lists, production schedules, and event timelines.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to Weekender's quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with event, service, and hotel teams.
• Assist with menu preparation and execution based on event needs.
• Maintain appropriate food quantities and timing throughout events.
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures are followed.
• Help manage event prep, service, and post-event cleanup.
• Train, support, and motivate other culinary team members.
• Jump in wherever needed to make sure the event is successful.
