Job summary

Butler is seeking an Event Chef for off-site Butler’s Pantry events. This part-time role offers flexible hours based on availability and business needs, and the Event Chef will lead culinary operations, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.

The position requires at least 3 years in catering or restaurant leadership, strong problem-solving, and superb interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in a catering or restaurant leadership role.
• Ability to problem-solve in real time.
• Ability to interact with people with ease, using highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Mature, independent judgment and ability to handle a fast pace, stress and change, in a professional manner.
• Ability to work a flexible and sometimes non-traditional schedule.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of the cuisine as per Butler’s Pantry standards and own responsibility for integrity at offsite events.
• Execute all required tasks according to the event’s BEO.
• Enforce the guarantee of fresh, quality food product in all situations.
• Ensure supplies are stocked, cleaned, and properly stored.
• Work to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Model appropriate behavior and encourage team members to follow suit.
• Act as an ambassador of the Company by sharing core values, vision and direction with others.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet organizational goals.
