The LINE DC invites applications for a Banquet Captain to lead event service with a focus on flawless guest experiences. You will coordinate set ups, supervise serving teams and ensure alignment with our standards of excellence in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and maintain eye contact.
• Must be courteous and gracious, always maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the LINE’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness.
• Demonstrate expert understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
• Coordinate set up of event and ensure accuracy of set up in accordance with pre-determined packages.
• Ensure all furniture in event area is clean and arranged properly.
• Help set up and break down event equipment.
• Inspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean.
