Job summary

Town and Country Resort in San Diego is seeking an On-Call Banquet Bartender to support events with high‑quality beverage service. You will prepare drinks, manage bar setups, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

This flexible, on-call role requires a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to varying event schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two or more years' experience as Bartender preferred. "TIPS" or equivalent certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing event needs.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all drink orders for guests according to specified recipes.
• Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function including pricing, characteristics of beverages, designated glassware to be used, VIPS, etc..
• Abide by state liquor regulations, including those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Transport bar unit with all supplies and equipment to assigned function area and set up as specified.
• Follow all guest billing, payment processing, and cash handling responsibilities according to policy.
• Assist in other duties as assigned to keep the events running efficiently.
