Job summary

Town & Country Resort in San Diego is seeking an On-Call Banquet Bartender to support our events with professional drink service and guest-focused hospitality. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering memorable experiences for guests.

You will prepare drinks, follow recipes, and maintain knowledge of beverages, pricing, and glassware while adhering to state liquor regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two or more years' experience as Bartender preferred. 'TIPS' or equivalent certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing event needs.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all drink orders for guests according to specified recipes.
• Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function including pricing, characteristics of beverages, designated glassware to be used, VIPS, etc..
• Abide by state liquor regulations, including those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Transport bar unit with all supplies and equipment to assigned function area and set up as specified.
• Follow all guest billing, payment processing, and cash handling responsibilities according to policy.
• Assist in other duties as assigned to keep the events running efficiently.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high activity.
