Job summary

Boston College is seeking a catering service team member to provide cocktail beverage and meal table service for dining services, bar services, and catered events.

Responsibilities include setting tables, making cocktails, serving clients, maintaining inventory, and post-event cleanup, with flexibility for evenings and weekends. Must have Serv Safe alcohol certification and fluent English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and understanding of food and beverage service.
• Must be fluent in speaking and reading English.
• Serv Safe alcohol certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cocktail beverage and meal table service for dining services, bar services, and catered events.
• Set tables, make cocktails, serve clients, perform side work and post-event cleanup.
• Maintain inventory of china, flatware, glassware, and utensils; arrange replacements as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Work on-call with flexible evenings and weekend events.
• Deliver superb customer service and etiquette; train teammates.
