Job summary

Greenawalt Hospitality is hiring Special Event Bar Managers to lead on-site bar operations and beverage service teams at live events across Alabama. This hands-on leadership role combines bartending, staff supervision, event prep, and guest service.

You will coordinate operations, direct team members, and keep service areas prepared and maintained throughout each event. The ideal candidate is an experienced bartender who communicates well, leads by example, and takes pride in creating a positive

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible event schedules.
• Reliable transportation to assigned event locations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable providing direction while actively participating in beverage service.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in high-volume environments.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site bar operations and beverage service teams.
• Supervise bartenders, barbacks, and other beverage staff.
• Coordinate bar operations and ensure service areas are prepared.
• Maintain beverage quality and guest interactions.
• Train new bartenders and reinforce service procedures.
• Communicate staffing needs and operational updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies.
• Collaborate with other event teams to maintain efficient operations.
