Job summary

The Historic Cavalier Hotel, part of the Cavalier Resort campus, is hiring a Banquet Setup Associate to support the Banquet Manager by preparing guest spaces and ensuring a positive experience. This on-site role requires moving tables, chairs, and equipment, and coordinating with supervisors throughout shifts.

You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate clearly with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication with supervisors, coworkers, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications, including moving heavy materials.
• Transport and arrange staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors as required.
• Supply meeting rooms with clean glasses and water; keep spaces tidy.
• Break down rooms after events and reset for next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedules to keep ballrooms presentable; comply with attendance.
