Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a banquet server to assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces and to serve food and/or beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

The role requires knowledge of liquor regulations, a current Food Handler Card, and strong guest relations skills to ensure high-quality service across events. The position is on-site with varied shifts to meet hotel needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regs for serving to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage prep, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to follow product labeling instructions for safe application.
• Ability to recall and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup/breakdown of banquet space.
• Serve food and beverages in a courteous, professional manner.
• Attend pre-event stand up meetings to learn function details.
• Greet guests and respond to requests.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages as needed.
• Reset banquet rooms for next function.
• Perform side work and cleaning per health standards.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
