Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a banquet server to assist with event setup and breakdown and to serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional manner. The role operates within a dynamic hotel environment with varying shifts, requiring teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include following Banquet Event Orders, greeting guests, serving courses, bussing tables, replenishing beverages, and resetting rooms between functions, while adhering to health and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Must hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparation, service standards and guest relations.
• Ability to communicate in English and handle guest inquiries.
• Knowledge of standard table settings and service ware.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner and ensure high service standards.
• Set up banquet rooms per Banquet Event Orders and assist Banquet Captain.
• Serve food/beverage in proper order and maintain consistency throughout events.
• Bus dishes, replenish beverages, and reset rooms for subsequent functions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
