Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Banquet Server to assist with event setup and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, professional manner according to hotel standards. The role requires greeting guests, attending meetings, and ensuring consistency throughout the event.

Responsibilities include stocking and clearing dishes, replenishing beverages, and resetting rooms for subsequent events while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for service to guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and guest etiquette.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English for inquiries and instructions.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, service ware and glassware as instructed.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages in order and to the Banquet Captain's specifications.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet rooms for the next function and prepare supplies as needed.
• Perform side work, restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness per health standards.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards and keep a neat, well-groomed appearance.
• Assist other banquet personnel when needed.
