Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a part-time Banquet Server at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. You will provide food and beverage service for catered events, from buffets to plated meals, working under Banquet Captain.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, banquet/food service experience, and certification such as TIPS or equivalent; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; flexible availability; and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Must meet age requirements to serve alcohol and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with presentation standards.
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time; perform other duties as needed based on event requirements.
