Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida, is seeking enthusiastic On-Call Banquet Servers to join our events team. You will help set up banquet rooms, serve guests, and ensure seamless event execution for weddings, corporate meetings, and other gatherings.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the banquet areas.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests to enhance their experience.
• Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as Hawks Cay Resort's service standards.
• Assist in post-event breakdown and cleanup, ensuring the venue is restored to its original condition.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding the resort's commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
