Job summary

Hawks Cay Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a banquet setup crew member to prepare event spaces, arrange tables, linens, centerpieces, and assist with audiovisuals. You will maintain cleanliness and provide exceptional guest service.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, move tables and chairs, lift at least 50lbs, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is a plus.

Job Overview:

Abanquet set up crew memberis responsible for setting up banquet tables and chairs for events, arranging table settings and linens, displaying centerpieces and decorations, assisting with the placement of audiovisual equipment, cleaning and maintaining event spaces, restocking supplies as needed, and providing exceptional customer service to guests
