Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work under an Operations Manager and coordinate with hotel staff and clients.

Responsibilities include precise setup and breakdown, on-site client meetings, troubleshooting, using Navigator for orders, invoicing with clients, up-selling, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for team members operating company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply where applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceeds client expectations and maintains positive relationships on site.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Completes systems entry and paperwork accurately and coordinates with staff/vendors.
• Engages in floor up-selling to increase revenue and assists with invoicing.
