Wright State University is seeking an Evening and Weekend Manager to extend staff presence for public facilities during evenings and weekends and to enhance core services across a 7-day schedule. The role reports to the Student Union Assistant Director for Operations and collaborates with Facilities Operations, Hospitality Services, and Campus Events.

Lead student employees, coordinate event setups, lift heavy items, and ensure safety and communication across departments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience in Student Union operations or a convention/banquet center.
• Demonstrated supervisory, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Must know how to use a computer for word processing, creating spreadsheets and work in a database.
• Must be able to perform all parts of the job.
• Physical exam required.

Aufgaben

• Assist with administration and facility management of service operations across campus to ensure a safe, professional and clean environment for building occupants and the public. Manage events and supervise facility use during evenings and weekends. Provide direct customer service to event planners and coordinators.
• Assist the Assistant Director for Operations in hiring, training and scheduling student employees on the Operations Team; oversee event setups and safety standards.
• Serve as a liaison to Environmental Services personnel.
• Assist in planning for large events.
• Assist with managing inventory.
• Maintain an Ohio Driver’s License and a certificate in using aerial lifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
