West Virginia University’s Erickson Alumni Center is seeking an Event Staff member for the Morgantown campus. The Evening Shift handles event setup and breakdown while maintaining interior and exterior appearance, with frequent public contact.

Tasks include following the Manager's directions, managing daily duties, and ensuring timely, high-quality work. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of cleaning/maintenance experience, with preference for event setup, AV

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with commercial/residential cleaning.
• Experience with event setups (diagrams, seating, staging).
• Plumbing, carpentry or other trades experience preferred.
• Audiovisual/sound reinforcement equipment experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain interior and exterior appearance of the Alumni Center.
• Follow Manager directions and oversee daily tasks.
• Ensure tasks are completed timely with proper quality.
• Monitor multiple events and report progress to the Manager.
• Notify Manager of repairs and deferred maintenance needs.
• Maintain supplies and inventory across the building.
