Job summary

Mercy Health in West Chester is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under licensed supervision. The role focuses on safe, accurate radiographic procedures and patient-centered care within a faith-based health system.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, state licensure (preferred), and BLS prerequisites. Training in EPIC EHR and PACS is a plus, with a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Associates from ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• State licensure preferred where required.
• BLS certification at/before hire for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and labs; document for licensed practitioner.
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate anatomy.
• Apply radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and radiography; aseptic technique.
• Perform timeout per policy.
• Identify, prepare and administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
