Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health in Devens, Massachusetts, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Child Inpatient Behavioral Health, evenings. The role includes direct and indirect patient care, patient assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will work 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation, ensuring safe, therapeutic care and support for patients and families. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Previous psychiatric or substance use inpatient experience with de-escalation and crisis intervention preferred.
• Crisis management and time management skills; ability to multi-task calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the health care team providing direct and indirect patient care.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Utilize the nursing process per TaraVista’s philosophy and core principles.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu aligned with core values.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to contribute to each patient’s treatment plan.
