Job summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at TaraVista Behavioral Health Center, you will join a multidisciplinary team delivering direct and indirect care to patients, families and guardians. You will assess patient conditions regularly, apply the nursing process, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while contributing to individualized treatment plans.

REQUIRED: Massachusetts RN license, CPR; preferred BSN; experience with behavioral health/substance use and de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and guardians as part of the health care team.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Utilize the nursing process in line with TaraVista Behavioral Health Center's philosophy and core principles.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in our core values.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document goals and interventions.
