Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support pediatric clients from birth to 18 years old at the Wheaton North Clinic in Carol Stream, IL.

This part-time evening role runs 3 PM–7 PM with opportunities to grow in areas like feeding therapy and AAC evaluations. Requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, successful Praxis, and Clinical Fellowship completion, with IL licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment

Education
