Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help children build communication skills, with opportunities to specialize in Feeding Therapy and AAC evaluations, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients from birth to 18, set client-focused goals, and guide families to reinforce skills at home. Requirements include a Master’s in SLP, Praxis, CFY, and IL licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients from birth to age 18.
• Create client-specific goals focused on effective communication using verbal and non-verbal skills.
• Provide guidance to families to reinforce treatment practices at home.
