Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Wheaton, IL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to serve pediatric clients from birth to 18. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, set client-specific goals, and guide families to reinforce skills at home.

Join a multidisciplinary team including OT, PT, counselors, and ABA professionals. The role offers a collaborative culture, mentorship, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to specialize in areas like feeding and AAC

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Must pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• SLP licensure or license eligibility in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
