Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support pediatric clients from birth to 18 years. You will develop and implement treatment plans, set client-specific goals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes fun, engaging therapy and strong family guidance, with opportunities to specialize in areas such as feeding therapy and AAC evaluations; a graduate degree and Illinois licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment
