• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree; Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Measures vital signs and performs ECGs, capillary blood glucose where required.
• Observes and reports the functioning of equipment, treatment results, dressings, and changes in patient condition.
• Delivers care with confidentiality and responsiveness as part of Temple Health's Customer Service program.
• If certification is not present at hire, completes onsite nursing certification program within 90 days of hire.
