Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital's Emergency Department as a Paramedic. You will provide emergency treatment, perform vital signs, EKGs and CPR, and assist with monitoring and patient care in a fast-paced ED setting. Work with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality outcomes for diverse patient populations.

The role requires EMS-Paramedic training and Ohio EMTP licensure, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Evening shifts, 11:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited EMS-Paramedic training program.
• Current EMTP licensure in Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required; ITLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency treatment in the ED under RN supervision.
• Obtain and record vital signs; perform EKGs, CPR, phlebotomy, and suctioning.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and saline locks.
• Notify RN/physician of rhythm changes; assist with equipment and patient transport.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assist with sterile procedures and supplies.
