Job summary

Accelera is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Tucson, AZ to support a beverage production facility. The role focuses on upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of utility and production machinery with autonomy in the utilities department.

Core duties include diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues, PLC troubleshooting on Allen Bradley platforms, and maintaining VFDs and motors. 60-hour weeks possible; immediate start offered.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to wire control circuits of moderate complexity.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components across packaging lines, boilers, pumps, conveyors, and motors.
• Perform minor programming updates and troubleshooting on PLC platforms.
• Maintain and replace VFDs and 3-phase 480V motors to ensure uptime.
• Construct, maintain, and install hangers and piping for steam, process, condensate, and water systems.
• Execute equipment adjustments and size changeovers to keep filling and packaging lines running.
