Job summary

Allen Distribution is hiring a Yard Jockey/Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am, Sun–Thu). You will safely move trailers between yard and dock, load and unload goods with power equipment, and secure cargo while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

Requires Class A CDL as needed and physical ability to lift 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay with shift differential where applicable; full-time role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) as needed.
• Experience operating power equipment for loading/unloading and yard tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to truck and trailer handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailers from yard to dock and back.
• Load, unload, and secure products; inspect trailers pre/post trip.
• Maintain DOT and company safety standards during shifts.
