Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Operations team. This role uses power equipment to load and unload product, and requires safe movement, location, relocation, stacking and counting of inventory.

You will operate in a mid shift from 10am to 6:30pm, with overtime as needed. A forklift license and ability to lift 50 lbs are essential. Teamwork, safety focus, and accuracy in paperwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Must operate in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Able to use handheld RF Scan Device.

Responsibilities

• Use power equipment to load and unload product.
• Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs and report issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and complete inbound/outbound paperwork.
• Support teamwork and assist in all areas as needed.
