Job summary

Allen Distribution in Independence, MO is seeking a Forklift Operator for our 3rd shift (6:00 PM–4:30 AM, Sun-Wed with OT as needed). You will load and unload product with power equipment, move, locate, stack and count items in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Candidates must obtain and maintain a forklift license, operate an RF handheld device, and handle up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Safety, accuracy and teamwork are essential to success at Allen Distribution.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use a handheld RF scan device.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product using power equipment.
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count product.
• Follow safety, SOPs and customer work instructions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
• Complete inbound and outbound paperwork accurately.
