Job summary

Allen Distribution is hiring for a Class A Driver/Yard Jockey/Forklift Operator on 2nd shift (3:30pm to Midnight, Mon–Fri with OT). Wage starts at $25.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Duties include transporting trailers, loading/unloading with power equipment, and securing cargo against damage.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a Class A CDL and drive tractor-trailer on routes within our operating area.
• Ability to load/unload and secure trailers safely and efficiently.
• Understand DOT regulations and safety standards applicable to Class 8 trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailers from yard to dock and back.
• Load/unload cargo using power equipment and ensure proper securing of loads.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform pre/post trip inspections.
