Job summary

Metro Technology Centers is seeking a Substitute HVAC instructor for the South Bryant Campus to educate and supervise students in alignment with program curriculums and safety standards. The role requires a current Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License and residential experience, with teaching experience preferred.

The position offers a part-time, on-call schedule (M-TH, 3pm–10pm), and opportunities to advance based on program completion.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License Required
• Residential Experience Required, Commercial Experience Preferred
• Teaching Experience Preferred
• OSHA 10/30 Preferred

Responsibilities

• Present subject matter according to Oklahoma statutes and program guidelines
• Deliver instructional activities in classroom, lab, and work-based learning environments to facilitate active learning
• Concurrently facilitate student learning at varying skill levels within the program
• Be a positive role model and maintain a safe learning environment; uphold behavior expectations and district guidelines
• Maintain professional relationships and clear communication with colleagues and students
