Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Client Service experience.
• Previous experience working in a Veterinary Hospital.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy or emotionally challenging situations.
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems and veterinary software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
• Answer high-volume phone calls while prioritizing urgent patient needs.
• Coordinate Emergency walk-ins and Specialty appointments.
• Accurately register patients and maintain electronic medical records.
• Collect patient histories and verify client information.
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and financial transactions.
• Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians regarding patient flow.
• Provide updates, discharge instructions, and follow-up communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Support efficient hospital workflow through teamwork and collaboration.
