Carolina Animal Specialty and Emergency Hospital (CASE) is seeking an experienced Full-Time Emergency Veterinary Receptionist/CSR in Hickory, NC. You will be the welcoming face for clients during critical moments, handling calls, registrations, and scheduling in a fast-paced emergency setting.

This role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to multitask across multiple computer systems while supporting a high-volume hospital team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary CSR experience.
• Experience working in a Veterinary Hospital or Emergency setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism and compassion.
• Answer high-volume calls and triage urgent needs.
• Coordinate emergency walk-ins and specialty appointments.
• Register patients and maintain electronic medical records.
• Collect patient histories and verify client information.
• Process invoices and payments.
• Communicate with veterinarians and technicians about patient flow.
• Provide updates and discharge instructions to clients.
