Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous work with homeless individuals and/or families
• Ability to work alone and handle crises with good judgment, adequate communication skills – both written and oral
• Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend stairs and handle physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Manages the operations of the program during the day
• Admits residents entering shelter and assesses suitability for placement
• Ensures supplies such as food for residents
• Maintains staff logs and activity records
• Attends staff meetings and follows all policies
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Program Coordinator
