Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking an Off Shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee evening, night, and weekend maintenance operations. You will lead off-shift technicians, manage troubleshooting, and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will ensure safe operations, track work orders, and provide guidance on complex repairs while coordinating with day-shift supervisors for smooth transitions between shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and equipment schematics.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (OSHA, NEC, etc.).
• Proficiency with maintenance software systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct off-shift maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance, to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor and track work orders, ensuring completion in a timely manner and according to specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies during maintenance operations.
• Act as the point of contact for emergency breakdowns and coordinate rapid response to minimize downtime.
• Provide leadership and technical support to maintenance team members, including guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks.
• Review and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring proper allocation of resources and addressing urgent issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts inventory, and completed work orders.
