Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Aiken, SC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Off Shift to lead the night/weekend maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient execution of maintenance activities sustaining production operations.

You will guide reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility, coordinate priorities with Production and Quality, and drive the Zero Harm safety culture on off‑shift operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent apprenticeship or military qualifications may be considered.
Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum two years of supervisory or team leadership experience in industrial maintenance.
Experience working the Off‑Shift schedule (Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 pm–6:30 am).

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for the off‑shift maintenance team by establishing daily priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring safe, efficient execution of maintenance activities supporting manufacturing operations.
Lead the safe execution of reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the entire production facility to maximize equipment availability and minimize production disruption.
Act as the primary maintenance decision‑maker during off‑shift operations, making timely operational decisions to restore equipment safely and efficiently.
Coordinate maintenance priorities with Production, Quality and Operations leadership to support production schedules and customer commitments.
Champion the Rolls‑Royce Zero Harm culture through compliance with OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, machine safeguarding and company safety requirements.
Coordinate emergency breakdown response and assign maintenance resources to critical equipment failures based on operational priorities.
Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and controls‑related equipment failures.
Ensure work orders, labour reporting and equipment history are accurately maintained within SAP PM or the company CMMS.
Monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities during the shift and escalates risks that may impact equipment reliability or production.
Ensure maintenance activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures, engineering standards and company processes.
