Job summary

Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting is a compassionate, client-centered practice providing high-quality outpatient counseling to individuals, couples, and families. This part-time, on-site role in Cumming, GA requires evenings or weekend coverage with a minimum of 35 hours of availability and a caseload of 27+ clients per week.

The team emphasizes evidence-based care, compliance with licensing, and collaboration within a supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a GA LCSW, LMFT, LP, or LPC
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology/Social Work/Counseling/Marriage & Family Therapy or related field
• Strong background in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
• Ability to provide therapy independently
• Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
• Experience conducting psychotherapy with children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.
• Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
• Preferred candidates will be able to see children (5+ years of age) and adults

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities
• Maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 27 clients per week within a minimum of 35 hours of availability
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
• Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies
