Job summary

Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for an in-person role in Cumming, GA. Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $75,000 annually, paid bi-weekly, with office hours Monday–Friday 8am–7pm and flexible scheduling to reach 35 hours.

The ideal candidate holds GA licensure, has experience with evidence-based modalities, and can provide therapy independently in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in GA.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Strong background in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT).
• Ability to provide therapy independently.
• Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms.
• Experience with children, adolescents, trauma, couples, and/or outpatient settings.
• Preferred candidates can see children (5+) and adults.

Responsibilities

• Active, unrestricted license validation and assessment of clients.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and couples outpatient psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Maintain a caseload and schedule meeting 35 hours of availability.
• Seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and goals.
• Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in supervision, consultation, or team meetings.
• Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies.
