Job summary

Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW/LMFT/LPC) for an in-person, part-time role in Cumming, GA. Evenings until 7pm and/or weekend coverage are required, with up to 25 hours of availability.

You will provide individual, couples, and family therapy, maintain a consistent caseload, and complete documentation accurately within a collaborative clinical team. Preference for treating children age 5+, adolescents, and adults.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted GA license (LCSW/LMFT/LPC)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
• Experience with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
• Ability to provide therapy independently
• Experience in outpatient settings
• Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
• Preferred candidates will be able to see children (5+ years)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and couples outpatient psychotherapy services
• Maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 27 clients per week within 35 hours of availability
• Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings
• Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies

Compensation

$47.50 per clinical hour; paid bi-weekly

Evening (until 7pm) and/or weekend coverage; flexibility to schedule up to 25 hours of availability within those time frames

Role Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides high-quality outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families. Success in this role means maintaining a consistent caseload, delivering evidence-based care, and completing documentation accurately and on time while collaborating with a supportive clinical team. Preferred candidates will see children (5+ years of age), adolescents, and adults. This is a part-time, on-site position for evenings (until 7 PM) and/or weekend availability.

Licensed Therapist Responsibilities

• Active, unrestricted license as a LP, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in GA
• Conduct assessments of bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
• Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
• Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Maintain an active caseload of a minimum of 27 clients per week within a minimum of 35 hours of availability
• Preferred candidates will have multiple days of up to 7pm availability
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
• Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $47.50 per clinical hour; paid bi-weekly

Requirements

Licensed Therapist Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in GA
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Strong background in evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
• Ability to provide therapy independently
• Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
• Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.
• Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
• Preferred candidates will be able to see children (5+ years of age), adolescents, and adults
